Sustainability Ministry

Our Mission

It’s easy being green when you gather with friends to share knowledge and ideas, participate in projects and outreach, or explore what’s happening in the world of sustainability - and in our own back yards. We warmly welcome newcomers and love to get together for fun and pot lucks.

Some of Our Activities

• Workshops – Easy Green Living, Solar Cooking, Gardening and Composting, Car-Free Life, Reuse and Recycling, and more.
• Resources – Information and contacts to help with all of your green needs along with great networking connections.
  
• SLC Youth – Bringing fun and educational green activities to kids, providing new ways to see and interact with the world.
• Alternative Gift Fair – Introduces a new, greener way to honor the people close to you during the holiday season.
• Discussion Groups – Organized around the latest thinking from books, movies, the internet, and other sources.

When We Meet

We meet on the third Sunday of each month in Pioneer’s Parlor at 10:00 a.m. Bring your passion and your vision!
