STRATEGIC PLANNING UPDATE

Two major changes lie ahead for Spiritual Life Center during 2012:

In February 2011, Reverend Michael Moran, Founding Senior Minister of Worship, announced his plan to retire to part-time Emeritus status in September 2012. Our first major change will be to hire a new Senior Minister of Worship to join me in our ministry leadership team.
In November 2011, we were given notice that our lease for Sunday services at Pioneer Congregational Church would not be renewed in 2012. Our second major change is to find a new Sunday church home by March 31, 2012.

How have we responded to these changes?

The news of each change caused us to take a deep breath. Recognizing the impact these changes would have on SLC, we turned to Spirit for strength, wisdom and guidance. With a positive outlook grounded in Unity principles, we envisioned that all would flow with ease and grace in Divine Order.

On January 8, 2012, we shared three documents to clarify our strategic planning organizational structure and objectives during this time of transition. They are available by clicking on one of links listed below.

The Transition Support Team, led by Carol Delzer, was introduced, and from now on those team members will be available after each service to receive your questions and suggestions.
