WHO WE ARE
Overview of Board of Trustees
The
Board of Trustees consists of no less than five (5) and no more
than eleven (11) SLC members and the Senior Ministers. Board
members are nominated by the Nominating Committee and elected
by the membership at the annual meeting held in May of each year.
Board members are elected to office for a term of three years
and may be nominated for a second consecutive three-year term
by the Nominating Committee and Board of Trustees, but may not
be elected to a third consecutive three-year term.
Board members demonstrate a deep commitment
to his/her spiritual life as well as a passion for service and
dedicate themselves to serving the SLC community for a period
of three years. Each Board member brings with him/her specialized
professional and personal skills, which may include business,
finance, construction, real estate, education, volunteer services,
communication, health, and technology.

fill out the Board
Member Application.
Board
of Trustee applications should be completed and sent to the address
which appears on the application form. Applications will
be reviewed by the Nominating Committee to determine eligibility
and interviews will be scheduled in early April. Candidates
are interviewed by the Board of Trustees. The Nominating
Committee presents a recommendation of candidates at the Annual
Meeting in May and elected by the SLC membership.
The
