Next Steps for Newcomers

When it comes to getting to know Spiritual Life Center, there are many steps you can take.

Worship Services--The most obvious step, of course, is to visit one of our Sunday or Midweek Spiritual Renewal services.

Fellowship--Immediately following the Sunday worship service, join us for coffee, refreshments, and conversation in Fellowship Hall.

Attend an Event--From concerts to meditation, from workshops to guest speakers, there’s always lots going on for everyone. Check out the online SLC Events Calendar.

Volunteer—SLC volunteers are very important people! There are many areas in which you may give of your talents and time. Volunteering is a way to put into practice the spiritual principles you hear about on Sunday. It is truly an experience of “Love in Action” and the experience of sacred selfless service as a path to God. See volunteer opportunities for complete information.

Take a Class--The Spiritual Education program at Spiritual Life Center offers classes of interest year-round. The 2008 catalog will be available soon.

Join the choir—The SLC Choir has been voted Best Choir in Sacramento twice by Sacramento Magazine. Consider joining the choir if you have a special interest in playing music, singing, or drama. You are welcome anytime.

Get involved in a ministry team—SLC offers a variety of teams that meet on a regular basis and participate in various activities in the local community. Check out our small group ministries, community outreach or volunteer opportunities.
