SERVICES AT SLC
Children's Program
Statement
of Purpose:
The purpose of the Children’s program is to support our
children in experiencing conscious awareness of God in all people
and all religions that teach love.
Mission
Statement: To create a safe, joyful, respectful environment
where our children can realize God’s loving Presence in
all they do.
Our
children are living Spirit. In our children’s program we
celebrate each child’s innate beauty and wisdom as we offer
teachings and activities to inspire and explore. Exposing the
children to the gifts inherent in a variety of spiritual traditions
ignites in them an inclusive and expansive experience of God and
Spirit. We use Unity curriculum for children which honors each
child while stimulating curiosity of the many Universal Laws and
Spiritual Truths.
Most
importantly we offer a fun, safe and sacred space for the children
to be loved, accepted and encouraged to express the unique Divine
Light that only they can be.
Bring
your children, ages 4-11 on Sundays; we meet upstairs in the Pioneer
Church during the 11:30 service. The children will be in a group
of peers their age with the committed teachers and helpers of
our children’s program.
