VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Community Service

The SLC Community Service Ministry has been busy planning service opportunities for Spring and Summer 2008.  Come to the Community Service Table after services to sign up for any of the following:

SLC Annual Spring Cleaning -  Saturday, May 31. paint, vacuum, scrub and repair our K Street location.

Habitat for Humanity - Saturday, November 15

Loaves and Fishes - Sunday mornings. Serve food to the hungry.

St. John's Shelter for Women and Children -  Design and decorate to create an inviting entry to the shelter.

UC Davis Children's Ward - Create "goody bags" for parents. Small shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, comb, etc.

Sponsor a Child from Africa - our SLC teens will reach out with letters and donations for a young girl named _____.
