Health & Wellness

Mission Statement:
The Health & Wellness Team of Spiritual Life Center is an open, loving and God-centered community. We believe that health is the unity and harmony of body, mind, and spirit in relationship with God, self, others, and the environment. We encourage and support the individual, no matter where they are on their personal path to health and wellness. We believe that All Is Well, no matter the circumstance.
 
Blood Pressure Clinic: Usually the 2nd Sunday of the month after each service.
 
Alternative Health Classes: 3rd Saturday of the month (no classes in November and December). Check the website and church bulletin for more details.
 
Wellness Nurse: Available by phone for support in times of health challenges for yourself or the loved ones you care for. Contact the church if you wish to receive a phone call from the registered nurse. (No medical care is provided.)
 
Race for the Cure: Each May SLC sponsors a team to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure for breast cancer. Walker and runners of all abilities invited to participate in the 1-mile or 3-mile course. See the website and church bulletin for more details.
 
 
Volunteers Welcomed!
If you are knowledgeable of taking blood pressures openings are available to staff the blood pressure clinic after church service. Equipment is provided.
