To Live Your Best Life, Move Beyond Negative Emotions



To live your best life, to live while focusing on being positive, feeling grateful, and centering yourself on the light instead of the shadow is essential. However, it is not always easy to do this, especially when negative emotions become addictive. The constant fearmongering of society and our fears and doubts can consume us, making it hard to see the light.


So, what is the most effective way to get back to being positive, grateful, and in the light?


The first step is to be aware of the emotions that hook or trigger us. We can activate our awareness by asking ourselves, "Am I caught up in society's worry, fear, doubt, limitation, or lack mindset?"


Instead of denying the negative emotions, we want to discern their origins. We can bring to the surface those emotions by posing questions along the lines of:

  • Am I triggered by society's fearmongering?

  • Am I triggered by a habitual fear pattern from my family conditioning?

By identifying the source of the negative emotion, we can recalibrate our vibration to a higher frequency by choosing gratitude or thanksgiving.


Another effective way to move beyond negative emotions is to use the vibratory energy of a negative emotion to embrace its opposite. For example, suppose you're feeling distraught by the speculation of an upcoming recession, and you realize that underneath your reaction is the fear of not having enough. In that case, you can go to a private place and loudly and passionately speak to yourself.


Speak words like "Why do I have more money than I need? Why is everything working together for my good? Why am I always loved and supported by a friendly universe? Why is my life always working?" Speaking such words with conviction and emotion has power. You can direct that energy of that power to affirm what is true about life as an infinite expression of the Divine. When you do, the troubled belief begins to diffuse.


I recall a young woman who used these techniques to move beyond negative emotions. She had been struggling with anxiety and depression for years. She felt like she was constantly caught up in a cycle of worry and fear and was always worried about not having enough, not being good enough, and not being able to provide for her family materially and emotionally. She felt she was always in the shadow and couldn't see the light.


One day, she decided to take control of her emotions. She started by identifying the source of her bleak feelings, which she realized were rooted in her childhood and her family's financial struggles. She then began to recalibrate her vibration by focusing on gratitude and thanksgiving. She would take time daily to think about all the things she was thankful for and write them down in a gratitude journal.


The woman also began to use the vibratory energy of her negative emotions to embrace their opposite. She affirmed she was enough, had more than enough to meet her needs, and that everything was working out for her good. When she was anxious about not having enough, she would go to a private place and passionately talk to herself.


Using these techniques, the young woman could move beyond the negative emotions that plagued her life. She felt like she was finally able to see the light and live a happier and more fulfilled life.
