Mindfulness Meditation for Better Living

with Rev. James Trapp

Two Wednesdays Left, August 18 & September 1

6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

at Spiritual Life Center

Do you know that the number one practice highly evolved people have in common is meditation? During uncertain times and the hectic pace of modern life, many people feel stressed and overwhelmed. You may feel there is not enough time in the day to get everything done. Stress makes us unhappy, impatient, and frustrated. It can even adversely affect our health.

We are often so busy we feel there is no time to stop and meditate! But meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer, more focused, and helps you overcome stress and find greater inner peace and balance.

In this Mindfulness Meditation for Better Living class, you will learn step-by-step how to apply this most important practice in your life. You will better understand your mind and will transform it from negative to positive, from disturbed to peaceful, and from unhappy to happy. This is a profound spiritual practice you can enjoy throughout the day and not just when formally meditating.

Some of the benefits you can expect from Mindfulness practice include:

  • Reduced Stress

  • Boost in health

  • Greater happiness

  • Increased productivity

  • Improved communication

  • Strengthened problem-solving skills

  • Overcoming self-judgment and negative self-talk
