Artist Brenda Boles' Tribute to Michael and Faith Moran

Art Reception: Saturday, June 20th at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Art will be available to view on Sunday before, between, and after services in the Annex.

A message from Brenda: "I'm excited to share my art with you! I like to capture and express the essence, the feeling, rather than the mere image. I love color and the way art and colors can calm the soul or fill you with joy and excitement."

Join us for a heartfelt celebration of Brenda Boles' art as she pays tribute to SLC's founders, Michael and Faith Moran - a once in a lifetime opportunity to view and purchase paintings you've wanted, benefitting SLC and Brenda, as she retires after over 25 years in the art business. Imagine, you may own Brenda's painting that hung over Michael Moran's bed or the one he had in his living room, bringing his energy into your home as well! Attendees listen to Michael's velvet voice as we play his teachings and Faith's meditations as you roam and peruse Brenda's art. Prints and original art are available in all price ranges at greatly reduced prices (prints as low as $35).

Brenda's art can be seen throughout SLC — hallways, children's church, front desk, sanctuary, refurbishing of the Oneness Symbol, and donations on the Welcome Table. Brenda painted live at the Easter 2011 service along with the choir, generating $1,000 for SLC when the painting sold. She taught Faith to paint through her dementia as she painted angel greeting cards which SLC sold. Michael and Faith also commissioned a painting to gift the Brahma Kumaris World Headquarters in India. Brenda started the yearly Faith in Action art program, which still exists today, and led it for 18 years.
