Today I hold peaceful, loving thoughts for the world’s leaders.

I affirm that God’s divine plan and supreme intention for the condition of the world is expressing through each of the world’s leaders right now, and is manifest in every decision they make. All peoples of Earth are all united in consciousness and directed by divine wisdom, intelligence and vision. God’s grace is active in every deliberation and activity, bringing about the highest good for all. I know we are each part of the ever-renewing, ever-expanding, upward progressive movement of life. We are exactly where we need to be, doing exactly what we need to do to bring about healing, order and spiritual transformation. I send loving, empowering, and supporting thoughts and prayers to each world leader for the strength, courage and enlightenment needed to do their job.

Today I make a personal practice of nonviolence.

What I say and do expresses what is in my thoughts, not as I wish they were, but how they really are. This day, I commit to practice nonviolence in my thoughts, words and actions. Throughout the day, I notice that I am self-critical or that I judge others harshly. I notice that I abuse my body temple. I notice that no matter how I try, I still participate in abusing Mother Earth. The opportunity to make a personal practice of nonviolence shows up in my thoughts, actions and words. However, I must first begin with my thoughts because they have the greatest impact on my words and actions. And my words and actions have the greatest impact on the world. Today, I make a personal practice of nonviolence.

Today I am forgiveness in action.

Divine Comforter, I am aware that forgiveness is a gift that I give to myself. By allowing Your spirit of loving forgiveness to flow in and through me, from the center of my being to the circumference, and then out to each person who may have wronged me, I bring peace to myself and others. Love is always at hand. I experience its healing warmth first and then extend it to another. Forgiveness comes from love. I choose today to consciously replace angry thoughts and old grudges with love, serenity and forgiveness. Help me this day to remember the teaching: “Forgive them…for they know not what they do.” Today, I release my attachments to old woundings and I bless the world with peace of mind and love in my heart.
