About the Event
Join us for our annual Blessing of the Animals Zoom service. We are blessed to have Rev. Janée Marth officiate this service for the first time.
Animal blessings are often held in October to coincide with the Feast Day of the Catholic Saint Francis of Assisi. There are in fact many faith traditions that practice this blessing and as an Interfaith Unity Community, SLC's Blessing of the Animals Ceremony will be for all regardless of any religious or no religious affiliation.
All animals are welcome, and we look forward to sharing this sacred time with you.
Duration: Blessing of the Animals Special Service 30 Minutes - Rev. Janée Marth will stay online for everyone wishing to have a personal blessing for their animals. All welcome to leave Zoom meeting after receiving their blessing or welcome to hold sacred space for the rest until blessings are complete.
