About the Event
Join us in celebrating Diwali. Rachel Lyman with help from Ellen Springwind will be building a Rangoli image with sand in the SLC courtyard to honor this 5-day celebration on Wednesday Nov 11 – beginning at Noon. Also On Sunday Nov 15 there will be a dissolution ceremony after second service and bags of sacred sand will be handed out.
The Rangoli will remain in the courtyard for the week until the dissolution ceremony. If you attend Wednesday events you can still view the Rangoli.
A meeting for volunteers interested in helping to create the Rangoli will be held Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 pm.
