Field Trip to California Museum: "Help Wanted/Leave Now" with Raising Our Social Consciousness Book Club

Spiritual Life Center's "Raising Our Social Consciousness Book Club" in community with Center for Spiritual Awareness' "Ujima Ministry: Collective Work and Responsibility group" presents a field trip to the California Museum exhibit:

Help Wanted / Leave Now: “Operation Wetback” & The Revolving Door of Mass Deportation

¡Se Solicita Personal! / ¡Fuera! “Operación Wetback” & La Puerta Giratoria De Deportaciones Masivas.

We scheduled this event after the election, so that we can either celebrate a more hopeful future or plan further action to protect vulnerable people.

It is also scheduled in the afternoon so SLC's Women of Spirit attendees can also join us after their event.

We will have a docent for every 30 folks who attend. The entry fee will be paid at the door and is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors & students (ID required), $8 for age 6-17 and military, and children 5 and under are free.
