Remembering Reverend Dave Lyman

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Reverend Dave Lyman, who passed peacefully at home on August 10th, surrounded by the comfort of hospice care.

Dave was a longtime and deeply loved member of the Spiritual Life Center community. After being ordained as an Interfaith Minister in 2005, he devoted many years to ministry and service, including serving as our Assistant Minister in charge of Chaplaincy and coordinating our Prayer Chaplain and Pastoral programs.

Dave had a profound passion for bringing people of different faith traditions together. His commitment to interfaith ministry extended well beyond Spiritual Life Center, touching and enriching countless lives throughout the greater Sacramento community.

We are deeply grateful for Dave’s many years of loving service, his ministry, and the difference he made in the lives of so many. His warmth, compassion, and dedication will remain a treasured part of the Spiritual Life Center’s story.

We hold his wife, Rachel, along with his family, friends, and all who loved him, in our hearts and prayers during this time of loss.

Reverend Dave Lyman will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
