SLC Annual Meeting

Join us Sunday, April 26th from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m. at SLC or via Zoom for SLC's 2026 Annual Membership Meeting. All friends and members are welcome. The Board of Trustees will host the meeting and have provided the meeting agenda attached below. A love offering lunch will be provided after the second service for those attending in person.

This year's meeting will feature two voting items. One involves the election of two new Board Trustees, and the other concerns voting on proposed Bylaws updates. The current Board of Trustees includes Acting President Daniel Thomas, Acting Vice President Claudia Norton-Tolbert, Treasurer Marcia McCrimons, Secretary Linda Paoli, Rev. Rick Belous, Monica Hart, Marianne Mancina, George Peckham, and Sally Scion. Rev. Janee Marth, who was elected President, is currently on sabbatical. Board Trustee Sally Scion is completing her term this year, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her dedication and service during her multiple terms on the Board of Trustees.

The SLC Board of Trustees has endorsed the recommendations from the New Trustees Recruitment Committee for new board members. The nominees are Linda Davidson and Kathy Dona, whose photos are shown below. To read their complete biographies, please click on the attachment below.

The Board of Trustees extends its gratitude to the members of the New Trustee Recruitment Committee, including Co-Chairs Monica Hart and Marcia McCrimons, Rev. Rick Belous, Janet Crawford, Ian Powers, and Bill Stowell, for their time and dedication to this year's process.

For your convenience, attached below are the proposed Bylaw updates from SLC's Board of Trustees for your preliminary review. (Posted April 12, 2026) Big thanks to Board Trustees Sally Scion and George Peckham who served on the Bylaws Committee for their work on the proposed amendments. According to bylaw requirements, proposed Bylaw changes must be sent to the membership at least 10 days before the membership meeting on Sunday, April 26. An official Annual Meeting Announcement will be sent via email on Monday, April 13.

If you haven't become a Governing Member yet but have regularly attended before the bylaw changes, please visit The Three Yesses for Membership page to review the commitments required for membership renewal. Ensure you become a new Governing Member or renew your 2026 membership by 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 26th. At this time, the list of active 2026 Governing Members will be finalized and printed for our Annual Meeting at 1:15 p.m., where we will elect two new Board Trustees and vote on proposed Bylaw updates.

The active 2026 Governing Membership list will be pulled and printed at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 26th to conduct the business of our 1:15 p.m.

Please log in 5-10 minutes early to ensure a good connection; you'll be in the waiting room. We'll admit participants early for Governing Member verification before the 1:15 p.m. meeting.
