Sunday Colors: Orange, Blue, & White
We explore the ancient spiritual path of Hinduism, a tradition that honors diverse paths to realizing the singular, divine essence within every being. This rich tradition, a vibrant family of philosophies and practices, is considered to be the world's oldest living religion.
In-person at Spiritual Life Center:
2201 Park Towne Circle, Sacramento, CA 95825

Online on YouTube: Watch the Livestream here.

How these colors were chosen:
Saffron (Orange): The most sacred color in Hinduism, representing fire, purity, and asceticism. It symbolizes the burning away of worldly desires and is worn by holy men, monks, and ascetics as a sign of renunciation.
Blue: Represents the infinite, the divine, and the cosmic. Gods who exhibit bravery, determination, and depth of character—such as Krishna and Rama—are depicted with blue skin to signify their limitless and transcendent nature.
White: Symbolizes purity, peace, and knowledge. Because white represents the balance of all colors, it is linked to serenity and the pursuit of truth. It is commonly associated with the goddess of wisdom and arts, Saraswati.
